Jocko’s Ln106
From humble beginnings as a 24-hour budget build, Jock Mcdonalds “Pony Lux” has easily become a crowd favourite among the 4WD community. Over the course of many years, Jocko and his mates have built it into an offroad weapon, creating an Ln106 capable of taking on any new adventure.
Battered, bruised, put on its side, and put to the test, the Pony Lux was long overdue for a makeover. Treated rust, straightened panels, and refreshed bar work, a long week in the shed with Jocko and the RAPTOR team saw that old HiLux get a new lease on life.
The exterior was RAPTOR coated in a unique olive drab army-like colour, something unique to make the Pony Lux stand out a different colour to previous 4WD 24/7 RAPTOR projects. The bar work was resprayed with a tough coating of Black RAPTOR which contrasts perfectly with the body.
An old beast, Jocko’s Ln106 HiLux is now on the tracks looking good as new and is more than prepared to take on the next chapter of its life!
