{"id":26467,"date":"2023-01-30T09:36:33","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T09:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/raptorcoatings.com\/asset\/repair-raptor\/"},"modified":"2023-01-30T09:36:33","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T09:36:33","slug":"repair-raptor","status":"publish","type":"dlp_document","link":"https:\/\/raptorcoatings.com\/fr-ca\/asset\/repair-raptor\/","title":{"rendered":"Repair Raptor"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-video fusion-selfhosted-video\" style=\"max-width:100%;\"><div class=\"video-wrapper\"><video playsinline=\"true\" width=\"100%\" style=\"object-fit: cover;\" autoplay=\"true\" loop=\"true\" poster=\"https:\/\/raptorcoatings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Repair-Raptor.jpg\" preload=\"auto\" controls=\"1\"><source src=\"https:\/\/raptorcoatings.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Repair-Raptor.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\">Sorry, your browser doesn&#039;t support embedded videos.<\/video><\/div><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>We need to repair a dent in RAPTOR.<\/li>\n<li>Take off the part which needs to be repaired if you can.<\/li>\n<li>Panel beat the dented area, so that the panel is easier to repair.<\/li>\n<li>Thoroughly degrease the area to be repaired prior to sanding.<\/li>\n<li>Remove RAPTOR from the damaged area with 80 to 120 grit abrasive.<\/li>\n<li>Thoroughly blow off the area and degrease again.<\/li>\n<li>Apply your filler to the damaged area.<\/li>\n<li>Sand to shape when dry with grit 120 to start and finish off with 180.<\/li>\n<li>Abrade the surrounding area which is to be recoated with a fine scuff pad and degrease.<\/li>\n<li>Any bare metal areas should be treated with an appropriate primer.<\/li>\n<li>Apply a light coat of RAPTOR Adhesion Promoter over the area which has been abraded with a scuff pad for optimum adhesion.<\/li>\n<li>Apply a light coat of RAPTOR over the repair area to achieve the required texture.<\/li>\n<li>If using RAPTOR 2K Aerosol, wait for 30 mins and apply a second even coat to achieve a uniform repair.
